Interim Pastor
Pastor Edward Jackson (Interim Pastor): Pastor Jackson has 30 years of corporate experience in Information Technologies in the healthcare industry and has been a bi-vocational pastor for the past ten years. He is celebrating the 32nd year of marriage with Cherilyn (Cheri). Their marriage has been wonderfully blessed with five children and one grandson. Edward II and Elizabeth have been married for four years and last year gave birth to Edward III. Nathaniel and Kellie have been married for three years. Jeanae, a nurse serves in the United States Air Force in our nation’s capital. Joshua and Rachel are seniors in high school and still live at home. Email: pastorjackson@pointchurch.net.
The Elder Team
John Black (Elder): John is married to Joanne and has three adult children. He is retired after working in hospital security for a number of years. He enjoys spending time with his grandchildren, walking his dog, and catching bluegills.
Jim Feigleson (Elder): Jim is married to Claire. He has four adult children and a number of grandchildren. Jim stays busy in his retirement years as a leader and in-demand cook for a number of community organizations. He enjoys watching his grandson drive a race car at Golden Sands Speedway, making toast for the Thursday morning men’s study, and eating Dick’s pies (see below).
Dick Klapoetke (Elder): Dick is married to Irene and has two children. He is also a proud grandfather. Dick works as a computer programmer at Sentry Insurance and enjoys spending time with his wife, baking (and eating) pies, working on projects that involve power tools, and spending time outdoors.
Ben Kureck (Director of Student Ministries & Elder): Ben is married to Ginger and has three young children, Caleb, Philip, and ? (still in the womb). When he’s not spending time with his family, you’ll often find him on the wrestling mat, lifting weights, or running through the woods in his ghillie suit. He has served on staff since 2004. Dave Rowan (Elder): Dave is married to Peggy and has two adult sons. He is employed as a manager at the NewPage paper mill in Wisconsin Rapids. Dave enjoys planting trees on his property, eating wasp larvae, and helping men grow in their walk with the Lord.
Jim Swanson (Elder): Jim is married to Debi and has two adult daughters. He works as a consultant for NewPage at their paper mills in Central Wisconsin. Jim enjoys bird hunting, reading Proverbs, and rowing on his stationary exercise machine (ask him about his years on the team at UW-Madison).

Char Kramer (Administrative Assistant): Char is married to Bob and has four grown children. She enjoys visiting with people, reading, crafts and playing with her cats. She joined to staff in the spring of 2007. Email: office@pointchurch.net .
Field Staff (aka ‘Missionaries’)
Gary and Tammy Dunseath: Gary and Tammy live in Liberia to do evangelism and plant churches among a war-torn, impoverished people. They have three young children: Micah, Jedidiah, and Hadassah. Find out more at their blog.
Carol Feigleson: An experienced nurse and missionary, Carol is now serving in Thailand among children orphaned by AIDS.
Jamie Hamann: Jamie serves students in Taiwan as a teacher in order to build relationships and share the good news of Jesus.
Shong and Xailai Her: Having started the Hmong Alliance Church in Stevens Point only a few years ago, Shong and Xailai are passionately and prayerfully reaching the Hmong community for Christ. They have five children.
Andy and Joanna Lickel: With a passion for spreading the gospel to college students, Andy with Joanna serves on staff with InterVarsity Christian Fellowship. Andy equips the student-led movement on several campuses in Wisconsin, including the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. Find out more at Andy’s blog.
Dave and Miriam Kanagy: Currently serving in Brazil, they are helping a Brazilian-led church send missionaries to Mozambique, Africa, who will serve at a training center for Mozambiqan pastors. They have five children: Eric, Miles, Luke, Lance, and Anika-Ruth.
Brad and Deb Mashburn: After traveling repeatedly to Africa on short-term mission trips, Brad and Deb made the jump to full time missions among an unreached people group in Senegal. They provide inroads for the gospel through community development that builds bridges of trust to this hard-to-reach people group.
Bill and Rainy Schuhmacher: Following their passion for cross-cultural ministry and using their skills, Bill and Rainy teach in an East Asian school in order to build relationshipos and share the good news of Jesus.
Betsy Tubbs: Serving in South Asia, Betsy works among a non-literate people to share the gospel through telling the stories of the Bible and to help develop culturally-appropriate resources for evangelism and discipleship.
