For Everybody
When you’re at Community Church, you’ll often hear people say, “It feels like family here” or “We’re a big family.” That’s true on a couple of levels. In Christ, we are one big spiritual family. But we also try to keep families together as much as possible so that they can worship, serve, and learn together. Here are a few ways that you can do that as a family — or as a single person connected to the broader spiritual family:
Community Groups
- Dick & Irene Klapoetke’s “Dig-In” C-group meets on the first and third Sunday evening of the month at their home, 6:30pm. No child care, but young children are welcome. (Will resume in the fall)
- Dave & Kyoko Fuller’s Bible study meets Sunday evenings at various locations, 6:00pm. Contact the church office for details: office@pointchurch.net. No child care, but young children are welcome.
- Chris & Rosalie Tillman’s C-group meets Wednesday evenings at their home, 6:00pm. No child care, but young children are welcome. (Begins June 9, 2010)
Fellowship and Fun
- G.A.G. Nights. Every 2nd Friday of the month, we gather at a different home for “Games and Activities Galore.” Contact the office for details: office@pointchurch.net. (Will resume in the fall)
- Church picnics.
- Talent shows.
Service Opportunities
- Contact the church office for any upcoming family-friendly outreach and service events (e.g., the Community Church float in the 4th of July parade in downtown Stevens Point).
